The project aims to contribute towards increasing farmer resilience to current and future climate change shocks and protecting the environment through utilization of climate smart agriculture techniques and protection and preservation of the environment for 4 Farmers’ Clubs of 250 farmers each in Masvingo Rural district. In total, project has enrolled 1,000 farmers. The project supports the farmers to achieve the resilience through capacity building of their agronomic practices, low cost environmental friendly technologies and building capacity in their quest to farm effectively and sufficiently from their land to obtain food, nutrition and income security.
