The Youth in Action Culture project aims to establish Culture Centres covering 22 townships and train 1050 youth in building their capacities to develop and perform cultural activities. It involves active youth in doing good and influencing their community in the cultural sphere of their lives.
The project started its implementation in 2016. Child Aid Bissau works with youth aged 15 to 28 years in 22 townships in the capital Bissau, reaching a total of approximately 78.000 beneficiaries. The youth are trained in different culture activities such as traditional cuisine, dance, sculpture, music, painting and theatre.
